DEVIZES RFC Girls played on two of the most iconic pitches in England over a 48-hour period earlier this month.
On Saturday, 6 April, members of the club’s girls’ squads took to the pitch in front of 62,000 supporters at Twickenham during the half-time interval at The Clash – Bath’s Premiership game against Bristol.
Their appearance was part of the Bath Rugby Foundation and Bath Rugby Community Girls Showcase.
Devizes then took part in a Girls Touch Rugby Showcase at The Rec in Bath the following Monday.
The Girls appreciate the fantastic experiences they have enjoyed and the support this season from Bath Rugby Foundation, having been involved with the Premiership Rugby’s Project Rugby Programme.
With rugby being one of the fastest growing girls’ participation sports, Devizes RFC will be hosting a free rugby taster session for girls aged 10-17 on Sunday, April 28.
