Sue Cooke and Alex Jacobs have reached the O60 national pairs final
NORTH Wilts IBC duo Sue Cooke and Alex Jacobs are still on course to win another national indoor bowls title at the age group competitions in Nottingham.
The dynamic duo have reached the final of the ladies O60 pairs later today and will face Northampton’s Linda Warren and Janet Swift, who came from 7-0 down after three ends to beat Torquay United in the semi-finals 21-14.
Cooke and Jacobs led throughout in their semi-final this morning against Cambridge Chesterton’s Heather Bell and Ann How for a 19-16 victory after 18 ends to book the place in the O60s pairs final.
Cooke and Jacobs have previously won together three national indoor championship titles.
