Luke McCormick – 8.5

Three excellent first-half saves to maintain Town’s healthy lead at half time. Few faults, presumably back in the hunt for a starting spot.

Kyle Knoyle – 7.5

Reliable, trustworthy and forward-thinking. Moved the ball around well and delivered several key passes. Went largely unnoticed due to four-goal scoreline.

Keshi Anderson – 7.5

Few sloppy touches early on, but settled better in the second half and matched Town’s forward-thinking mentality. Denied a goal by a reaction save.

Canice Carroll – 7.5

Played an excellent pass to force a corner which resulted in the first goal. Held his slight holding role on the right well. Few rash challenges, but that’s his game.

Kaiyne Woolery – 7.5

Some strong build-up play work, and pressured Morecambe well to force errors. Rewarded with a goal. Plenty of crosses blocked, but a timely performance.

Dion Conroy – 8.5

Faultless passing of the ball from one half to the other. Cut out key passes, calmed the game down well and struck his first goal. Used his size well. Standout player.

Ali Koiki – 7

Error prone in the opening minutes, but held play up afterwards and again got forward into dangerous areas. Subbed.

Danny Rose – 6.5

Foolishly gifted the ball to Morecambe when initially comfortable in possession which almost led to an equaliser. Few mistakes after but did eventually settle. Better in second half.

Luke Woolfenden – 7.5

Part of a solid back four. And was key in passing the ball out from the back. Unnoticed performance can go down as a successful one.

Theo Robinson – 7

Notched another goal. Plenty of crosses that didn’t quite reach him but positioning was good. Looked a threat going forwards.

Kyle Bennett – 8

Crosses were more hit than miss. Creative in his play on the wings and stood tall when challenged. Goal was deserved, albeit a little fortuitous.

SUBS:

Matt Taylor - 6.5

Off the bench with 19 minutes left. Standing ovation upon entering the field. Had a chance to shoot once, opted to cross instead.

Marc Richards - 6

Caught out by Morecambe's high line, but did make forward movements. Eleven minutes in the bag.

James Dunne - 6

Little time to make an impact.
