The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald:

ONE TO WATCH: Christian Doidge

THERE is no doubt that Christian Doidge will be a man Richie Wellens will want to deal with, particularly after making reference to his side’s poor recent home form.

Town’s ability to concede cheap goals has plagued their home form, and proven goalscorer Doidge - who returned from his spell at Bolton earlier this month - can certainly add to his goal tally of seven.

The 26-year-old netted when both teams last met in August 2018 at the New Lawn in League Two - a game which ended 1-1 after midfielder Michael Doughty struck from the penalty spot in the second half.

KEY BATTLE: Keshi Anderson v Nathan McGinley

KESHI Anderson has proven himself to be one of Swindon Town’s hardest working players this season.

His relentless running and commitment to the cause cannot be questioned, though at times his shooting can fall under scrutiny.

He is likely to be matched with Nathan McGinley on Saturday - a player currently on loan at the New Lawn from Middlesbrough.

Anderson’s pace and ability to lose his marker proved a positive in August - and he was unfortunate not to score when dragging a shot from the edge of the area wide. With only three men in defence, it could be an area of vulnerability for Mark Cooper’s side.
