FORMER Swindon Town goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook is reportedly close to signing with League One outfit Shrewsbury Town.
Charles-Cook was one of five players released by former Town boss Phil Brown during the summer before he struck a deal with Danish Superliga side Sønderjyske until the end of the season.
But that deal could end prematurely with the Shropshire Star reporting that the 24-year-old looks set to make a return to the Football League.
The London-born stopper made 22 appearances under both David Flitcroft and Phil Brown during his time in Wiltshire, keeping seven clean sheets.
His release from Town was largely down to the return of preferred goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux plus ill-discipline with regards to turning up late to training sessions.
