SWINDON Town have today confirmed the departure of loaness Steven Alzate and Elijah Adebayo as they return to their respective parent clubs in the Premier League.

Striker Adebayo was recalled by Fulham and returns to west London having scored five goals for Town this season in 25 appearances.

The 19-year-old scored some important goals while at the club – starting off the comeback against Tranmere Rovers in the third game of the season, a late equaliser against Milton Keynes Dons and winners against Morecambe and Port Vale.

Alzate’s return to Brighton & Hove Albion comes after he missed Town's Christmas fixtures through injury, and with the 20-year-old set to miss most of the remainder of the season, he will spend his recovery period at his parent club.

While with Town, Alzate scored three goals – two of which were game-deciding; a winding run against Notts County and a late arrival into the box to strike against York in the FA Cup.

A statement on the club's website read: "The club would like to extend its thanks to both players for their efforts while here at SN1 and would like to wish them all the best in their career."
