Adver Sport assess the performances of the Swindon Town players in today’s 0-0 draw away at Mansfield Town in League Two.

LAWRENCE VIGOUROUX – 8

Quiet early on but showed be had his wits about him with a couple of wonderful saves before the break. Made sure Town held on for a point at the end too.

KYLE KNOYLE – 6.5

A steady performance on the right but not overly involved in the action. Playing against a five-man midfield didn’t allow him to get forward as much as normal.

SID NELSON – 8.5

Seems to grow in stature with each passing game. Threw himself in the way of any danger and took a couple of heavy blows for the cause.

LUKE WOOLFENDEN – 8

Forming a really strong partnership in the heart of defence and made a couple of crucial interventions to stifle the Stags.

MATT TAYLOR (C) – 6.5

Was exposed out wide on a couple of occasions but got in some good recovery blocks and tackles and almost scored with a fine free-kick.

DION CONROY – 7

Seems to relish having the licence to play more and his eye for a pass is evident. Began to fade as the match wore on.

JAK MCCOURT – 7

Was in the right place to cut up play a couple of times and featured prominently in Town’s pressing tactic, although early booking meant he was on a tightrope.

MICHAEL DOUGHTY – 6.5

A little off colour and bore the brunt of a few strong challenges from the home players. Didn’t get Town ticking as we have come to expect. Booked.

KESHI ANDERSON – 7.5

Was involved in the majority of Town’s attacking play and always seemed to pop up in the box. Might feel he should have had a goal to his name.

ELIJAH ADEBAYO – 7

Led the high press and harried the home defenders into mistakes, which created chances for others. Withdrawn after running himself into the ground for the cause.

KAIYNE WOOLERY – 6.5

Another who worked tirelessly up front but didn’t have many chances to worry defenders with his pace.

Substitutes:

MARC RICHARDS – 6.5

(For Adebayo 65) Pleasing to see him back and did his best to occupy defenders.

Subs not used: Luke McCormick, Jermaine McGlashan, James Dunne, Ellis Iandolo, Martin Smith, Scott Twine.
