Adver sport hands out their verdict following Swindon Town's 3-0 draw at Yeovil Town.
Luke McCormick - 8
A deserved clean sheet for Town’s new first choice keeper. Only error occurred when slipping while attempting to clear the ball.
Sid Nelson – 8.5
Quickly asserting himself as a favourite among supporters. Another fully committed performance, gave everything and worked tirelessly.
Olly Lancashire - 8
Encouraging performance on his return to the squad. Earned praise from the manager afterwards, will be pleased to get 90 minutes under his belt.
James Dunne - 7
Quieter game than normal. Back in a more familiar position after struggling at right back last week. Completed the job required.
Marc Richards – 6.5
Hasn’t had the impact up front that we saw last season so far during this campaign. Had chances to challenge goal but went without reward.
Keshi Anderson – 8
Some great runs through midfield to create chances in the first half. Will hope to improve in front of goal soon though after missing a one-on-one opportunity.
Steven Alzate – 8.5
Won free kicks in dangerous areas and proved a nuisance in midfield. Made plenty of interceptions in the first half before striking Town’s opener in the second.
Elijah Adebayo – 8.5
Dominated the left wing in the first half and caused his marker all sorts of problems. A clinical finish to score Town’s third goal, which was thoroughly deserved.
Toumani Diagouraga – 7.5
Sat in the holding midfield role and didn’t express himself too much. Ultimately did his job though and delivered the ball to the waiting midfields. Solid if unspectacular.
Matt Taylor – 8.5
Has lacked his usual edge this season but performed solidly in Somerset. Accurate free kick to double Town’s advantage, deservedly celebrated with the fans.
Luke Woolfenden - 8
Few errors from Town’s new signing and pushed forward multiple times. Positive performance from Town’s deadline day signing.
Subs:
Jermaine McGlashan – 6.5
Jak McCourt – 6.5
Martin Smith – 6.5
