MELKSHAM Town A top the Trowbridge & District League Division One table following their 3-2 win at Heytesbury on Saturday.

Liam Gibbens was on the scoresheet for the second week running for Heytesbury and new signing Myles Woodward added to the home side's tally but goals from Daniel Broom, Kieron Pearce and Cameron Thomas sealed the points for Melksham.

Newly-promoted Holt kicked off their campaign with a 3-0 home win over Trowbridge Town Reserves, John Baker, Scott Baker and Joe Walker on target.
