MELKSHAM Town Reserves were ousted from the top of the Wiltshire Senior League Premier Division table as the pitch for their clash at Cricklade Town was deemed unplayable on Saturday.

Shrewton United took advantage by securing their third away win of the new season with a 4-0 success at previously-unbeaten Football ID.

Lee Weeks netted twice in the opening half before Craig Lewis and Dominic Jackson secured the comfortable triumph.

Wroughton went second following a 1-1 draw at Trowbridge Town, Shane Hibbert's header earning a share of the points after Josh Howlett had netted for the Bees.

Corsham Town Reserves took their unbeaten run to 11 games with a 2-0 victory over Pewsey Vale Development, Mark Dolman and Tony McElhone on target.

There was a first win of the season for Marlborough Town, whose 5-0 success against winless Malmesbury Victoria Development came from two goals each by Ben Crame and Aaron Presley, plus a Luke Connolly effort.

Westbury United Reserves ended their wait for a victory as Matt Mead's goal won their clash with similarly winless Purton.

Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development were beaten 3-2 by Ludgershall Sports despite two goals from Josh Bolton.

David Cotter, Luke Sadler and Nathan Strong were on target for Ludgershall.
