CHIPPENHAM'S Emeralds ABC held its first dinner show of the year at the Neeld Hall in the town on Saturday, having also hosted the semi-finals of the Senior ABA Championships earlier that day.
Sixteen contests took place, with 14 Emeralds' boxers featuring, the club's younger boxers, Charlie Thomas, Chloe Barker, Ewan Doig - all aged 10 - excelling.
Leo Riozzi put up a brave performance, despite suffering a bleeding nose in the first round of his bout which continued throughout the full three rounds, suffering a narrow defeat.
The best home boxer trophy - awarded by the officials - went to Thomas Hardy, who boxed perfectly throughout his contest, while clubmate Matt Szekeres lost on a majority decision.
