FC NORTH Wiltshire, who relinquished the Division One top spot last weekend, took full advantage of Semington’s inactivity and reclaimed pole position courtesy of their 5-1 win over local rivals Bath Road.
Cameron Lee’s low drive gave North Wilts a half-time lead and another good finish from Lee doubled the score before substitute Liam Ralph beat four players and lashed home for 3-0.
Dan Bendell pulled a goal back for Bath Road, however it was little more than a consolation as Lee completed his hat-trick and Ralph added a second to seal the win.
Corsham Oak gained revenge for an earlier 2-0 defeat to Cavalier with a 4-0 win. Andy Wilkins, Andy Woods and Aaron Masson all netted in the first half. Ed Sibbick wrapped things up after the break.
Sutton Benger were 5-0 victors over Westbury Cons in the WG Parr Trophy last weekend and added a 2-1 win this weekend.
Ryan Underwood gave Westbury the lead midway through the first half. James Weston got Benger back on level terms and a second from the club's top scorer, which took his tally to 12 in all competitions, moved his team out of the drop zone.
