WILTSHIRE 2nd XI slipped to a hefty 198-run defeat when they hosted their Berkshire counterparts at Corsham on Wednesday.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first at Station Road, the visitors swiftly set about putting the Wiltshire bowlers to the sword, with Billy Rogers in particularly devastating form as he plundered an unbeaten 140.
That helped his side finish on a hefty total of 303-4 off their 50 overs, while Will Harris chipped in with 54.
Wiltshire found life tough going in reply and they were soon in trouble as they slipped to 14-3. No batsman was able to make a really significant contribution as the innings eventually collapsed for just 105 inside 20 overs.
