CHIPPENHAM Town goalkeeper Kent Kauppinen has left the club to join Hellenic League Premier Division side Highworth Town.
Kauppinen, who arrived at Hardenhuish Park in January of 2014, will link up with The Elms outfit following a seven-day approach.
He had been the main man between the posts for Mark Collier’s side, although his place had come under threat following the arrival of Darren Chitty from Frome Town late last month.
Kauppinen’s final Bluebirds performance was in the 3-2 defeat at Billericay in the FA Cup third qualifying round on Saturday.
Meanwhile, midfielder Andy Jenkinson has also moved on after being unable to commit to Town because of work commitments.
Jenkinson, who signed in the summer, is now playing for Winchester City in Evo-Stik League Division One South & West.
