A TRIO of Wiltshire golfers have made the final stage of the European Tour qualifying school.
Cumberwell Park’s Laurie Canter, Bowood Park’s Jordan Smith and Wrag Barn’s Josh Loughrey have all made the grade in Valencia this afternoon.
Canter ended the second qualifying round in fourth place with an overall score of nine-under-par, following a final round score of two-under.
Derry Hill’s Smith, who has already secured a place on the Challenge Tour next season, was three shots further back in tied 11th, despite a final round of one-over.
Loughrey finished tied 14th in Spain after a solid two-under round of 70.
The final stage of the Q School takes place on Saturday in Girona, where the top 25 claim a category 15 European Tour card for next year.
