WORTON-BASED para dressage rider Anne Dunham has been named in Great Britain's four-strong team for the FEI Para-Equestrian Dressage European Championships in Deauville, France after all five British horses passed today’s horse inspection.

Five-time Paralympic champion Dunham, 66, will ride LJT Lucas Normark and join Sophie Christiansen, Lee Pearson and Sophie Wells in Britain's quartet, with Natasha Baker competing as an individual.

The competition gets underway tomorrow (Friday) with the team test, the individual tests taking place on Saturday after which the team and the first individual medals will be decided.

The weekend’s competition concludes with the individual Freestyle test on Sunday, with 72 competitors taking part at the championships, the last major event before next year’s Paralympic Games.
