PETE Kibble continued his good form this week with two podium places in senior races.
The 17-year-old, from the hamlet of New Zealand near Calne, competed in the DB Max 10-Mile Time Trial at Castle Combe race circuit.
He finished second overall, with an excellent time of 21 minutes 18 seconds and also took the prize for the first junior rider.
Kibble then travelled to Aberystwyth to race in the Tour of the Mining Valleys Road Race.
Eighty riders lined up for the 62-mile course, with Kibble impressing.
With 14 miles remaining, he broke away with another rider and the two worked together to stay away from the peloton.
However, Kibble was narrowly beaten as the pair sprinted for the line.
