KINGSDOWN member Paul Bloomfield has again been selected to represent Wales in the Seniors Home internationals, at Royal County Down on September 24-26.
It’s the fourth successive year that Bloomfield has been chosen for the event, which sees the four home nations – England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales – playing each other in foursomes and singles matchplay over the three days.
“It is obviously a great honour for me to represent my country and I am proud to represent and have the name of Kingsdown Golf Club against mine and recognised at this level” he said.
Bloomfield flies out to Ireland with the Wales squad on Sunday week, giving him time to represent Kingsdown in their crucial final Wiltshire League match against Erlestoke the day before.
