CHIPPENHAM Redbacks claimed their second Welsh ARFL League victory of the season with a comprehensive victory over Vale Warriors in Barry 26-23-189 to 6-10-46.
Starting at a frantic pace, Liam Ralp scored the first two goals of the match with Chris Matthew, skipper Rory Auld, Kent Kauppinen, Calum Newman and Ethan Dicks also starring in the first quarter.
As the defence marshall by vice-captain Luke Cottis restricted Vale at one end, Aaron Gale added three goals, with new man Lee Penney, Auld twice, Kauppinen and Rob Kerr also on target.
Goals from Lee Tarn, Penney, Pete O’Neill, Ralph twice and Auld again scored goals in the third quarter, Joe Mitchell and Mitchell Curtis getting off the mark for the Redbacks and Tarn, Ralph, O’Neill and Kauppinenwrapping up an emphatic victory.
