WORLD champion Shelley Rudman concluded her season with a 13th-placed finish at the final World Cup meeting of the season in Russia today.
Defending World Cup champion Rudman, who added the global championship crown to her collection in St Moritz, Switzerland, earlier this month, clocked a combined 2:01.11 as she had her first competitive runs down the track that will be used in next year's Winter Olympics in Sochi.
The result left Rudman in seventh overall as the women's World Cup season concluded, Germany's Marion Thees clinching the title.
Rudman said on Twitter: "The season is officially over! Phew! ..It's been a long one! All my goals i set out to achieve have been accomplished so really happy!'
