ELITE League champions Swindon Excalibur Communications Robins have swooped to sign Eddie Kennett from Coventry for the defence of their title.
And club boss Alun Rossiter, who worked with the Great Britain international during his time at Brandon, believes he can get the best out of him.
Kennett arrives at the Abbey with a modest 6.25 average to his name but Rossitter says he can improve that significantly.
“Eddie is a fine rider and I rate him very highly,” he said. “I feel I can get the best out of him, we have a good relationship and I fully enjoyed working with him at Coventry.”
Meanwhile Excalibur Communications Robins co-owner Gary Patchett said: “Eddie approached us after he was given permission to speak to other clubs by Mick Horton at Coventry.
“We were very impressed by his enthusiasm for joining Swindon, it’s a fresh challenge and he is capable of scoring just as many points away from home as he is at home.
“We look forward to welcoming him into our side.”
