CHRISTMAS is coming to McArthurGlen Designer Outlet this weekend - with some very special festive guests due to pay a visit to the centre over the coming weeks.

On Saturday, Christmas will officially arrive at the designer outlet in Churchward, with Christmas decorations already twinkling from the ceilings of the former Great Western Railway works.

And from Saturday, November 25, families visiting the centre can get up close to the magical reindeer that pull Father Christmas’ enchanted sleigh through the sky on Christmas Eve. The reindeer can be found on Train Street on the walk leading to the main entrance.

Santa and his elves will be inviting families to visit the centre’s Grotto to share their Christmas wish lists in person from Saturday, December 2.

The Grotto can be found in the heart of McArthurGlen Swindon by the PinkBox Christmas Village and will feature a snow machine, which will shoot snow every hour during peak shopping times.

Entry to Santa’s Grotto is £5 per child and tickets can be bought online at www.bookfatherchristmas.co.uk/swindon

But it’s not just mince pies Father Christmas is eating. Between Monday, December 18 and Friday, December 22, the centre will be hosting the man himself for breakfast at Giraffe.

Children will be able to choose a breakfast and drink from a selection of favourites and meet Father Christmas to receive an early Christmas present.

Tickets cost £10 per child and bookings can be made in person at the centre’s Guest Services or email enquiries@swindondesigneroutlet.com.

Whilst visiting McArthurGlen Swindon over the festive period, little ones will also be able to get started on their all-important Christmas wish lists. The centre’s letter writing station, supported by Cross Pens, will be located outside their store. All completed wish lists can be posted in the Christmas letter box, ensuring they get from Swindon to the North Pole in time for the big day.

Tina Cumpstey, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon's centre manager, said: “Christmas at McArthurGlen Swindon is a truly wonderful time of year.

"We are thrilled to be welcoming back PinkBox Christmas Village and look forward to spreading the festive cheer with the arrival of Santa, his reindeer and elves.

"On top of all the festive fun, shoppers will of course be able to make the most of promotions available across the centre, which hosts over 100 high street, premium and designer brands and offers amazing year-round savings of up to 60 per cent off the RRP."
