A Christmas sale organised by Devizes Lions will help the needy in the town after a huge number of donations have been made.
On December 4 the Corn Exchange will be filled with a huge variety of goods from bikes to books and jigsaws to jewellery from 9am to 2.30pm.
Lion Doug Simpson said: "During November goods are being collected as a result of a leaflet drop to every house in Devizes. There has been a deluge of items for sale. Hundreds of jigsaws, dozens of bikes, toys, jewellery, sports goods, electrical items and masses of books. All of these are being sorted and checked in a store kindly provided by Nigel Grist of Grist Environmental.
"On the day the Corn Exchange will be packed with goodies for sale"
Father Christmas will also be in attendance and there will be refreshments.
Any items for the sale to help good causes in Devizes can be collected. Ring 01380 721597.
