Wiltshire's Melinda Messenger has been forced to undergo a special deep-freeze massage after suffering a leg strain during practice for tomorrow’s Dancing on Ice show.

After Tuesday’s training Melinda was in agony forcing her to consider pulling out of this week’s show.

But friend Christian Platts, was down for the week and performed her two-hour ‘magic massage release’ on her on Wednesday allowing her to make the day’s training.

Jaine Brent, Melinda’s agent, said: “During practice she hurt her inner thigh and it resulted in a huge amount of pain for Melinda. “The massage worked out really well for her and now she can actually perform on Sunday. There were fears for her, but the thing about Melinda is that she is a strong gutsy girl, and she never lets anything get her down - she will perform.”

In Melinda’s email to her fan club she said: “Just four days to learn this weeks more complex routine.

“It’s a difficult one, eeeeeeeek, but I’m loving every hard minute of it.”
