Swindon council is using Facebook to encourage young voters get involved in the voting process.
Swindon Borough Council said the aim is to help make it easier for citizens to find information about the election and to exchange ideas with others.
Facebook has been adopted by many political candidates to showcase their views and engage with voters, especially the young, the council said.
You can find Swindon election information by typing Local Election Swindon' into the Facebook search engine.
