LITTLE did furloughed business development manager Jayne Jenkins know that when she sent out a social media plea for help making health worker scrubs - she would be inundated by ladies who sew.
They have called themselves The Marlborough and Swindon Scrubbers - as they are churning out cheery kits made out of colourful duvet covers for children's hospices in Wiltshire and Wales.
The gang all met on social media, and hadn't actually met in person since the call went out in April.
"This is the first time we have seen each other in the flesh," said Jayne who had rallied the sewing troops to the Marlborough Leisure Centre car park for our photo.
"It is so lovely - the girls come from Marlborough, Burbage, Wroughton, Swindon. All around here really.
"They just got in touch when I put a message out there. Now we have produced 568 sets of scrubs, 628 bags and 691 hats between us.
"I am everso proud of all of them."
