ORGANISER'S of this year's Concert At The Kings are promising it will be hits and singalongs all day on May 26 as they reveal Billy Ocean and Paul Carrack will top the bill.

Paul McCartney's soundman John 'Grubby' Callis and pub landlord Richard Baulu are delighted with the line-up for this year's Rock Against Cancer at the King's Arms in All Cannings, near Devizes.

Carrack is acknowledged as one of the UK's great singer songwriters and has played with the likes of Squeeze, Mike and the Mechanics, Elton John, The Smiths and Ringo Starr.

Even those who don't immediately know his name will know the classic songs such as How Long. Mr Callis said: "I have been talking to Paul for a long time about coming to All Cannings and now he is finally coming. I am very pleased."

Others on the bill will include The Stranglers, From The Jam, Animals and Friends and John Coghlan's Quo.

Mr Baulu said: "If you were lucky enough to go to one, or really fortunate and got to go to all of the previous concerts, you’ll know what an exceptional event Concert at the Kings is.

"We have been privileged to have had some of the finest musicians join us, many of whom have truly shaped the course of music over the years. The artists for 2018 have over 25 top 10 UK singles between them, plus some classic albums."
