A FEARLESS woman has jumped out of a plane and carried out a sky dive to say thank you to the hospital who saved her when she was born prematurely in 1994.

Jasmine Kirby, now 23, decided to raise funds for Salisbury Hospital after she was born eight weeks premature after her mum was diagnosed with placenta previa. Miss Kirby, from Webbs Way, Burbage has raised a grand total of £610 for the Salisbury Hospital Stars Appeal to thank the hospital which she says saved her live.

Miss Kirby said: “The day of the jump came three days after my 23rd birthday, I was nervous but it was a beautiful morning, being there at 7am.

“It was an incredible opportunity and I thoroughly enjoyed it, only downside was the pain of my ears popping but it was well worth it. I would totally recommend Go Skydive to anyone wanting to do a tandem skydive, go for it, you only live once and life’s too short.”

She jumped from 15,000ft in June with 16 other fundraisers who donated a total of £6888 following the event.
