A cyclist suffered a serious injury after being hit by a car on Tuesday in Chippenham.
A black Citroen C1 hit a cyclist negotiating a roundabout on the A4 Bath Road, Chippenham at 5.06pm.
The 37-year-old male cyclist from Swindon suffered a serious head injury and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by road ambulance.
The driver of the Citroen stopped at the scene and helped police with enquiries.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have seen the Citroen C1 or the cyclist around the time of the incident to contact police on 101.
