The B4039 is closed from Castle Combe to Yatton Keynell following a collision between a lorry and a Mercedes.
The vehicles collided at 1.15pm, with the female driver of the orange-coloured car suffering non life-threatening injuries in the incident.
The lorry is currently being towed away from the site of the accident, and the council is clearing up a diesel spill from the vehicle, and it is hoped that the road will soon open again.
