Schools in Calne have been planting trees donated by the Woodland Trust to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Springfields School had a total of 60 wild cherry, beech and mountain ash varieties donated to them.
Some were planted in a woodland walk at the school’s farm in Goatacre, which is used for therapy for some of the children who have complex needs.
And the school decided to give some of the trees to local partner schools.
Laura Jones, of Spring-fields School, said: “We gave 15 trees each to Lyne-ham and Hilmarton primary schools. We thought it would be nice to get into the spirit of things and share them with some of our partner schools.
“We went up to Lyneham and one of our students, James Ballard, helped some of their reception children plant theirs at the start of their Diamond Jubilee woodland walk.”
The farm was opened earlier this year after the school formed a partnership with Goatacre farmer Kevin Iles.
