Sixpenny Nursery in Marlborough was announced Rural Business of the Year at the gala Wiltshire Business of the Year awards.
Melksham data-capture firm Valldata won Business of the Year and the Innovation and Growth award at the event held at the Four Pillars Hotel in South Cerney, while Park Lane Press in Corsham won the Environmental award.
The awards attracted more than 100 entrants and are sponsored by Newsquest, the owner of the Wiltshire Business magazine and the Wiltshire Gazette & Herald and Wiltshire Times.
Gary Lawrence, group editor of Wiltshire newspapers for Newsquest, said: “Even though it’s been particularly tough in the business market place business awards give the local economy a boost.” “The awards demonstrate that business wants to engage with the public; provide a profile in the market place and a recognition for the people who work that particular business.”
