A charity set up to support local groups, organisations and families in Malmesbury has raised more than £900 from a fundraising furniture sale.
The Malmesbury Area Community Hub (MACH) is applying for funding and holding charity events to get their plans for a hub in the town centre off the ground.
The furniture sale, with items donated from Julie Exton’s removals service, was held at the youth centre, Gloucester Road, on Saturday.
MACH chairman Sid Jevons said: “It went really well. The money will go to helping to get the hub up-and-running.”
