Crowds watched as youngsters paraded through Malmesbury as part of the St George’s Day celebrations on Sunday.
Uniformed Beavers, Scouts and Guides marched from Ingram Street to the High Street and on to the abbey, where a celebration service was held.
Mayor Steve Cox said: “It was wonderful to see so many children there.”
North Wiltshire scouting group get together every year on the nearest Sunday to St George’s Day to celebrate being a scout and renew their vows.
This year was Malmesbury’s turn to host the event.
Kim Power, chair of the first Malmesbury King Athelstan scout group, said: “Sunday's parade was a fantastic community and scouting event.”
The scouting movement locally has limited resources and volunteers. If you can help, call Mrs Power on (01666) 825113 or email kim@kimpower.co.uk
