Deborah Moore is considering setting up a fund in memory of Diana once she has recovered from the emotional strain of her campaign to find out why her daughter died.

Mrs Moore said she would like to do something to celebrate her daughter’s life and help others.

Trained psychotherapist Mrs Moore said: “I would love to set up a memorial fund in Diana’s name although I am not sure what it would be in aid of yet – but it would be a lovely thing to investigate.

“Everything is still very fresh and I’m still trying to come to terms with things as this is the first real opportunity I have had to properly grieve for Diana, but I would love to look at setting something up in her in memory somewhere down the line.

“This has been a very long battle and I haven’t really got back into things yet but I would like to start looking into returning to work in some capacity soon.

“When I feel better I’d like to look into supporting others who are maybe in a similar situation to me and as a trained counsellor and I may have some ability to help them.”

Mrs Moore said that she had successfully qualified as a psychotherapist, giving her first workshop in Bristol on April 23, 2006 – just days before her daughter’s death.

She said: “Given how intense this journey has been I basically became retired somewhere along the way and I would like to revisit my career at some point and maybe draw on my experiences to help others.”
