Devizes Floral Art Club is hoping to banish old fashioned ideas about flower arranging by holding an open morning.
There will be mini demonstrations of floral art, including table decorations, buttonholes and hand tied arrangements.
There will also be raffles and floral sundries to buy plus coffee, homemade biscuits and cupcakes with a flower theme.
It is on May 10 at Devizes Town Hall from 10am- noon. Entry is free.
A spokesman for the club said: “People can watch, join in or have a coffee and a chat. Flowers and plants play a huge role in our modern lifestyles, both in the home and as gifts for all occasions.”
