Pewsey Amateur Dramatic Society’s new show is HE Bates’ Darling Buds of May.

It runs from tonight to Saturday in the Bouverie Hall. Dave Bromilow is playing Pop Larkin.

Avril Alsop makes her debut with PVADS as Ma Larkin, as will be Hallam Britten as reformed tax inspector Charlie and his love interest Marietta is played by Cherry Mawby.

Also new to the Bouverie Hall stage will be Lucy Montefiori and Scarlett Martin, who play the twins Zinnia and Petunia.

The show will feature fireworks and what is described as “the most amazing chestnut tree ever seen on stage” with ten-foot branches.
