Corsham School pupils were starstruck by an army of musical icons on Thursday night when staff at the school took part in their biannual Stars in Their Eyes event.
Around 300 people came to the school, in the Tynings, to watch the glitzy show which included staff performances as Lady Gaga, Muse, Girls Aloud and Blur amongst many other music stars.
Assistant head teacher Mike Holgate, who performed as Guy Garvey from Elbow, said: “It was fantastic to have teachers, admin, IT and other staff in the competition.
“This is an example of the work our school does to break down barriers between pupils and staff.”
The event, which was non-competitive, was hosted by some of the school’s sixth form pupils.
Mr Holgate said: “I had a chat with a few former teachers at this school and they all agreed there are not too many schools who could do an event like this which is real compliment.”
