In your paper last week, someone was suggesting using the footpath as a cycle way. As most cyclists have no insurance, who do you make a claim from if you get injured by one or do you claim from the council?

The best action would be to build a bypass around Devizes, which would cut the traffic and the pollution from exhausts which is all around the town causing real problems for people who have breathing problems.

So stop thinking about yourselves and those with bicycles, and start thinking about everybody, as a bypass would solve a lot of the problems.

Why don’t you carry out a survey to see how many would prefer bikes on the footpath or a bypass?
