Weeks after Devizes butchers Walter Rose & Son was shortlisted for the title of butcher’s shop of the year, it has been nominated for another regional award.
The shop in Sidmouth Street, Devizes, is one of only eight local butchers chosen as selling the best bangers in the west.
The competition is part of British Sausage Week, organised by the British Sausage Appreciation Society.
The winner will be announced by rock legend Noddy Holder at The Clifton Sausage in Bristol on Friday. Rose’s is the only Wiltshire butcher on the shortlist.
