Erlestoke resident Eddie Look celebrated his 100th birthday last month.
Mr Look has lived at Manor Farm since his childhood and is a well known figure in the community.
He celebrated his birthday with family members on October 17 and received two barn owl boxes as a gift.
One of eight siblings, he attended Dauntsey’s School, West Lavington. He worked on the farm from an early age taking over after his father died.
He married late in life but sadly his wife, Jane, died from multiple sclerosis. They had no children.
His niece Susan James, of Bradford on Avon, said: “My uncle is a great country lover. He has been a great supporter of Erlestoke church and village.
“He provided one of his fields for a cricket pitch.”
