An application by Dominos Pizza to open a new branch in Calne was due to be discussed at last night’s Wiltshire Council northern area planning committee meeting.
The controversial plans would see a store open up next to the new M&Co clothes shop.
When it was discussed at a town council meeting last month, a number of local residents and shop managers vented their opposition to the proposal.
