I DIDN'T watch the BBC Panorama programme which accused managers and agents of taking bungs on Tuesday.

If it is proved true then there will be big repercussions, some agents in football have their own agenda and are in it for their own gain.

Even at this level I have come across players with agents and they do get in the way.

Especially at this level a player should be able to negotiate his wage with a manager and then leave it, but some people feel they need guidance.

We were obviously delighted with our win over Corsham in the FA Cup on Saturday.

If you take out AFC Telford and AFC Wimbledon, who are both newly formed teams, then we had the biggest gate of the round - 671.

It shows the nature of our fans, because it is easy to come along and support when things are going really well but there was a good following from both Chippenham and Corsham.

With the big gate I am sure both clubs did well financially because the FA Cup means a lot of money to clubs like us.

We now have an interesting tie away at Slimbridge in the next round.

We will do our home work, we already know a little bit about them, and we will watch them on Saturday when they play Bridgwater in the FA Vase.

Slimbridge have won nine out of nine this season, if you count their cup games, and we will be properly prepared.

They are at home and I am sure it wouldn't surprise some people if we were to lose, but with the league pyramid we are still favourites.

We are looking forward to getting back to league duty on Saturday against Corby.

It is a long trip and an early start for all of us but we will be going there to give it our all and get a win.

Striker Dave Gilroy is a major doubt with a hip injury for Saturday's game and if there is any risk to him then he will not feature.

I have belief in all my players and we have Sam Allison, Paul Milsom and Alan Griffin to come in and do the job and I am very confident they can do that.

Elsewhere, we have decided to tell Steve Jenkins he is being made available to other clubs. He is currently in discussions with Yate Town and whether he joins them is up to him.

Unfortunately we, like all other clubs, have to work within a budget and have to cut our cloth accordingly.
