PUB landlords Chris and Laura Chatwin are reluctantly leaving Bromham.
The couple took over running The Greyhound Inn in February this year but are moving to be nearer to Salisbury where their 12-year-old son, Thomas, is attending grammar school.
The Greyhound is the first pub that the couple, who also have a five-year-old daughter, Grace, have run.
Mr Chatwin was previously a police officer and Mrs Chatwin worked as a doctor's receptionist. They moved from the New Forest area to take up the reins at The Greyhound.
Mrs Chatwin said: "Our son is struggling with the journey to and from Salisbury and that is the only reason we are moving so we can be nearer to his school."
Wadworth Brewery has new tenants lined up to take over The Greyhound.
