WOOTTON Bassett will be turned into a sea of colour on Saturday, as the town's annual carnival parade makes its way through the streets.
The procession marks the highlight of two weeks of festivities. About 25 groups have entered the parade, which will have a lights, camera, action' theme.
Organiser Gareth Williams said: "It will be an action-packed parade," he said. "From the indications and forms we have received, it does look like we will have a great variety of themes."
The parade will leave Marlow Avenue at 5pm.
Radio station Brunel FM, which recently launched at the town's Lime Kiln studios, will be broadcasting live from the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat float during the procession.
An arts, crafts and hobbies show will take place between 1pm and 8pm in the Civic Centre tomorrow.
The carnival will culminate on Sunday with the carnival service at St Bartholomew's Church at 3pm. There will also be a tea dance in the Memorial Hall between 2pm and 4.30pm.
