A Wiltshire man is in hospital with severe head injuries after the car he was driving crashed into a tree on Saturday night.
The 19-year-old man lost control of his silver Audi A3 Quattro while travelling along an unclassified road near to the A419 in Blunsdon.
Fire and rescue crews had to cut the man out of the vehicle which had become wedged in a ditch.
The man is being treated in Great Western Hospital. His passenger, also 19, was not injured in the crash.
