RAF and Army officers from MoD Corsham successfully completed their Trailwalker challenge.

MoD Corsham entered two teams into the Oxfam event, which saw participants cover 100km from Petersfield, Hants, beginning on July 16, and finishing at Brighton Racecourse the next day.

The ISS Herrick Harriers and the ISS Herrick Haggards made up the event’s 520 team entrants.

Captain Jason Phillips, member of the Iss Herrick Haggards, said: “The Harriers finished in a blistering 14hrs and the Haggards finished in a very respectable 23hrs.

“High spirits were maintained by our support teams that provided food, water and encouragement.”

The two teams raised about £4,000 between them for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust through sponsorship by companies, such as C3IA solutions and Gurkha Fine Foods, and donations from family and friends of team members.
