Devizes police have appealed for information about an incident in the Market Place that resulted in a young woman suffering from concussion.
Officers were called to the incident at about 3.15am on Sunday July 10 in which the 20-year-old woman from the area was knocked unconscious.
Acting Sergeant Gemma Rutter said: “The female declined medical treatment at the time but was later diagnosed with concussion.
“It is believed that a white male in his mid-20s was involved in the assault on the female.
“He is described as having blond/brown short hair, about 5ft 7in tall, stocky build, wearing a dark-coloured shirt.”
