The Zephyr regional anti-drugs squad, working together with Wiltshire Police, have executed two warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act in Potterne, near Devizes.

The new regional crime team has been set up to tackle crime across five force areas - Avon and Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall and Gloucestershire.

Warrants were executed at properties in Ryeleaze and St Mary's Close, Potterne.

A 63-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Officers also recovered cannabis and drug related paraphernalia.

Sector Commander Inspector Andy Noble said: "Working together with Zephyr we will continue to target those who involve themselves in criminality in our area. We thank the community for their continued support."
