Pewsey Carnival 2010 was once again blessed with fine weather and the people of the Vale were able to enjoy a programme of over 30 different events over the two weeks.
We still have the band and choir concert to look forward to, on November 6.
I wish to pay tribute to all of our workers whose effort brought about a magnificent show. Thank you also to the people who entered the various competitive events and the thousands who watched them.
Special praise goes to all the marshals and stewards who ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
The next committee meeting will be at the Bouverie Hall on October 14 and is open to the public. We will discuss what went well and what did not and will identify those areas which need further consideration and planning in the months ahead.
